Together with my partner Marguerite, we fully restored this 19th-century family home, paying particular attention to the materials used, in a warm spirit tinged with Art Deco, with subtle maritime and tropical touches inspired by our travels and passions — I am a marine carpenter and cabinetmaker. The view, one of the estate's greatest assets, reveals the coastline where you can glimpse Cayeux-sur-mer and the English Channel just 4km away as the crow flies. We offer a bar menu of snacks and carefully selected bottles chosen for their exceptional quality. The omnipresence of bookshelves, fed by Marguerite's literary and historical appetite, justifies our deliberate choice not to offer a television. She will gladly guide your reading choices or suggest games by the fireside, lulled by a touch of groovy jazz. Fiber internet and excellent Wi-Fi coverage also allow you to work remotely. More contemporary structures have been developed around the historic house. The tropical greenhouse houses a heated swimming pool (privatized access by reserved time slots). The dining room, bathed in light at sunset, overlooks the 2.5-hectare grounds, which themselves offer numerous outdoor living spaces. You will find for sale within the house a selection of designer lighting, curiosity objects, high-end wallpaper collections, table arts, organic skincare products, and works by artists. Breakfast baskets are available on request, made up of fresh, organic, and seasonal products, in a zero-waste spirit, with care taken to serve good sourdough bread and homemade cakes rather than reheated pastries or baguettes.
