Le Colombier, 71340, Iguerande, France
3 CADOLES FOR 2 PEOPLE, 2 GÎTES FOR 4/6 PEOPLE & 1 BED AND BREAKFAST ROOM FOR 2 PEOPLE - "It is in Iguerande, on the border between Loire and Saône-et-Loire, that in 2008, Michel and Marie-Pierre Troisgros opened the doors of the Colline du Colombier. Returning from a rich cultural and professional journey, and from an experience at the family home, the opportunity to cut our teeth in this place — one that shares nature, creativity, authenticity and freedom — presented itself in 2020. Four years later, it is in this peaceful Brionnais that we decided to offer lodging and meals throughout all four seasons. At the end of a path, surrounded by hills and meadows, the Colline du Colombier is a place where you can rest as a couple in the cadoles, mysterious alcoves created by architect Patrick Bouchain; or in a group, in the Longère and the Colombier tower. If you wish, we place a breakfast tray at your door so you can discover, on your terrace, the gentle awakening of the Brionnais from the top of the Hill. At the Grand Couvert, a vast building under a sky of tiles and wood, we serve food at lunch and dinner. Lisa Roche, passionate about wines, will welcome you and introduce you to beautiful estates. Léo Troisgros, driven by a lifelong love of cooking, will delight you with his passion for acidity and creativity. At the Bois Mangé, beneath the canopy of an oak tree dappled with light, you can come to quench your thirst and snack to your heart's content, assured of a warm welcome. For walks, depending on the season, you will discover shimmering landscapes, blossoming fruit trees, the snail festival, the vineyards of our region, beautiful markets, and the banks of the Loire. We look forward to meeting you!" - Lisa & Léo - Photos: Félix Ledru
