La Paresse en Douce is nestled in the Livradois-Forez regional natural park, on the outskirts of the village of Tours sur Meymont (alt. 623 m), in the eastern part of the Puy-de-Dôme department. The oldest part of the house dates back to the 17th century and was once used as a monastery. The authentic elements, renovated in a rural spirit blending simplicity with contemporary touches, create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. There are 5 rooms, including 2 XL rooms: double rooms with more space and more comfort (infrared sauna). The rooms have a 'new rustic' style and feature comfortable bedding and a modern en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. In addition, there is a fully walled garden with several terraces, a small swimming pool, and a Nordic bath! In the evening, you can join us at our table d'hôtes (reservation required). Henk has a great passion for cooking. Our guests often describe La Paresse en Douce as a culinary destination where they feel truly pampered. No standardised dishes, but generous and flavourful cuisine, prepared with care and attention. After a wonderful day of discovery in Auvergne, what could be better than sitting down at the table, relaxing and enjoying a delicious meal?
