5-ROOM GUESTHOUSE WITH A CAFÉ AND BOUTIQUE - OPTION TO PRIVATISE FOR 14 PEOPLE - "In the heart of the Calvados countryside, between Deauville and Pont l'Evêque (15 minutes from the train stations), Maison Mouche is a brick village house that charms its guests with the refinement of its décor, its warm and colourful floral atmosphere… and its breakfast! Here we love welcoming families, couples, groups of friends, yoga or writing retreats, small business seminars, or city dwellers longing for the countryside. The house has five charming rooms including a family suite, which can be rented individually or as a full-house, giving you private access to the shared spaces: living room, kitchen, library. All rooms feature a large bathroom with a bathtub AND shower, and are perfectly equipped for enjoying breakfast in your room (mini fridge, kettle, and coffee machine). In our rooms, all the furniture, paintings, and knick-knacks have been sourced by the owners, sometimes even rescued from their own home. The energies of the past nourish those of the present. Materials and colours echo one another; fabrics, cushions, and wallpapers create a sense of being cocooned. A fireplace lounge, a kitchen open onto a communal dining table, a cabinet of curiosities with board and card games, backgammon, and a reading corner — everything is designed to make you feel at home. Sunday mornings here are particularly joyful, when villagers and guests alike gather by the fire. A charming café-boutique is also open to all from Wednesday to Sunday. Looking out onto a pretty street in Beaumont, it welcomes guests, neighbours, and friends of Maison Mouche. On the grocery side, you can enjoy the boutique's carefully curated selection: beautiful and delicious products chosen with care. And on request: body or facial massages, yoga and Pilates classes. (Not surprising when you know that the owners are none other than the founders of the Tigre Yoga Club.)
