5-BEDROOM GUESTHOUSE "Between Arles, the Alpilles and Avignon, surrounded by orchards and cypress trees, the Mas des Prêcheurs has nestled against the Montagnette since 1649, sheltered by century-old trees. This 800m2 farmhouse is like an island in nature, set within its own private 18-hectare estate featuring a large olive grove, a Provençal garden with a pond, a pine forest, a swimming pool and a permaculture farm. Between sunshine and light filtered through the plane trees, on one of our terraces or by the pool, in all seasons, you can choose to focus on the sound of cicadas or the song of birds. Whether you are in search of nature or culture, your stay will inevitably be too short to discover everything the surrounding area has to offer: located at the heart of the triangle formed by Arles (25 min away), the Alpilles (20 min across the fields to reach Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, Les Baux-de-Provence or Maussane-les-Alpilles), and Avignon & Villeneuve (20 min away), everything is easy and quick to reach. Inside, you will be captivated by the soul of the place in the 100m2 vaulted living room, stripped of all superfluous elements. Its majestic fireplace invites you to enjoy a quiet, relaxing moment with a glass of wine or a cup of tea… You can choose to have breakfast, lunch or dinner in the shade of the parasols on the lawn, or in the dining room, by the fireplace and the farmhouse table on which the day's recipes — made at home with local vegetables by Camille, our housekeeper — are presented each day. At Mas des Prêcheurs, the cooking is essentially vegetarian, drawing inspiration from Mediterranean flavours, from Provence to the Orient. Everything is freshly prepared each day using local, seasonal produce. Your meals are then made available to you in the kitchen, on the large farmhouse table, or kept warm in the oven. No table service — help yourself as much as you like. Discover our recipes and enjoy new flavours! We are currently in the process of setting up a permaculture farm, intended to supply our Table d'Hôtes and all the meals prepared by Camille at the Mas. If permaculture interests you, we will be delighted to give you a tour of the farm and explain the regenerative farming approach we are committed to."
