GUEST HOUSE UNABLE TO ACCOMMODATE CHILDREN UNDER 14 YEARS OF AGE - "At the heart of the Côte d'Opale, Moulin Moulin is ideally located to enjoy the most beautiful sites in the region. Situated halfway between Hardelot and Le Touquet, you can enjoy the beaches and surrounding nature. The beach is 3 km away, accessible by road or along hiking trails through the Dunes du Mont Saint Frieux. When we acquired the house, we decided to transform it and open a guest house. Four rooms are located on the first floor of the main building (fully renovated) of the former mill and have their own private bathrooms. Two other rooms, the Petite Boudeuse suite and the Grande Boudeuse suite, are in an annex of the house and have a private terrace. Breakfast is delivered each morning to your door. The décor freely mixes family furniture, items we have sourced ourselves, and a selection of objects we have acquired over the years. The bedding and pillows come from an Aveyron manufacturer that crafts its products by hand from the wool of sheep raised all around the workshop. The glass bottles in the bathroom contain unscented Marseille olive oil soap with no added dyes. The memory of our unforgettable grandmothers and their strong characters guided us throughout the creation of Moulin Moulin. It is from this freedom of tone that we created the guest house to welcome our guests for their greatest pleasure. Moulin Moulin, like a nursery rhyme, a refrain, a poem written for them. Each morning we lovingly prepare breakfast with 100% homemade recipes and local produce. In the evening, there is no table d'hôtes here, but a 'self-service pantry' offering a varied selection for an aperitif before going out or dining in. We offer, as much as possible, artisanal and local or homemade products. We also offer the option to order directly from the house boards of local cheeses or smoked fish. What is not local or homemade comes from friends or family (wine and champagne in particular). The product selection varies according to our discoveries and inspirations. Our home aims to be ecologically responsible: biomass boiler, waste reduction, natural products, short supply chains, upcycling. We attach great importance to this, as well as to the respect of craftsmanship and heritage." - Nicolas & Jeremy Photos: © Studio Papi aime Mamie
