Rue du Général Leclerc, 14800, Deauville, France
HOUSE FOR UP TO 6 PEOPLE FOR RENT "TOUNEPAZ is the secret refuge of art publishers Mélanie and Christophe (Three Star Books). Located in the heart of Deauville, the house was entirely redesigned and furnished by their friend and designer Jacques Jarrige. Each room features one or more pieces of furniture integrated into the architecture of this small Norman residence from the early 20th century. Comfortable and full of surprising solutions, travellers will be captivated by the inventions of Jarrige. Naturally, in Deauville, TOUNEPAZ... à duc de Morny... (founder and visionary of this seaside town just two hours from Paris). Indeed, TOUNEPAZ is not named after the Duc de Morny, nor is it the name of a flower — it is the wordplay that characterises this residence full of surprises, rich in colour and original interventions by contemporary artists with whom Mélanie and Christophe work. The house is highly original; a contemporary art library also makes it a place conducive to discovery and exploration of new ideas and forms. Guests will be enchanted, and their only disappointment will be the end of their stay at TOUNEPAZ. Set back from the street with a small garden, TOUNEPAZ is a calm and comfortable residence, easily reachable on foot from Trouville-Deauville station. Ideally located, TOUNEPAZ is less than 5 minutes from the port, the beach and the main shopping district. The house can accommodate up to 6 people, ideally 2 couples and 2 children. In Deauville you will discover a wealth of events and activities such as horse riding, 5 golf courses, The American Movie Festival (first week of September), the Casinos de Deauville and Trouville, the famous "Promenade des Planches", the historic "Land Beaches", the charming port of Honfleur and many other scenic or cultural excursions. Also available are children's activities, tennis, cycling, water sports, the thalassotherapy centres of Deauville and Trouville, numerous local restaurants and of course the spectacular fine sandy beach of Deauville." - Mélanie & Christophe
