CABINS FOR 3 TO 9 PERSONS - Set across more than 900 acres of preserved forest in Quebec’s Lanaudière region, about 1 hour and 15 minutes from Montreal, BESIDE Habitat is a collection of architecturally designed cabins immersed in nature. Each cabin can be rented individually, with layouts ranging from one to four bedrooms for couples, families, and groups. Set discreetly among the trees, the cabins offer a sense of privacy, with contemporary architecture, natural materials, and expansive windows that bring the surrounding forest indoors. Every cabin features a private sauna and a fireplace, making it just as inviting in the depths of winter as in the warmer months. Dogs are welcome in select accommodations. The experience is shaped by the changing seasons and the freedom to slow down. More than eight kilometers of trails wind through the property, leading to quiet forest clearings and waterside spots for swimming in summer, while winter brings opportunities for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. A secluded reading nook hidden among the trees offers a place to pause with a book, away from the pace of everyday life. Whether for a weekend away as a couple, a family escape, or a larger gathering, BESIDE Habitat offers a thoughtful balance of architectural design, private comfort, and immersion in the natural landscape throughout the year.
